Casa de Campo Resort & Villas is a large gated resort on the coast just east of the city of La Romana. It has hotel rooms and suites as well as private villas, spread over a huge estate with golf courses, a marina and its own village, Altos de Chavón.

Beach, pools and spa
Guests use the private Minitas Beach, a short ride from the hotel, with a beach club, cabanas, chairs and umbrellas. A free shuttle runs around the resort. There are several outdoor pools, including one with a swim-up bar. The spa has a sauna, hot tub and steam room. Children under 12 are not allowed in the spa.
Activities and entertainment
Golf is the main draw, led by Teeth of the Dog. There are also tennis, padel and pickleball courts, an equestrian center, kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkeling, fishing and boat trips from the marina. Altos de Chavón, a stone village built in the style of a 16th-century Mediterranean town, has shops, restaurants and an amphitheater. There is a kids club for a fee.

La Romana International Airport (LRM) is about 10 minutes away by car. Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) is about 1 hour away. The resort offers an airport shuttle for a fee, on request.
Book a private transfer in advance so a driver meets you at arrivals and takes you straight to the resort.
