About Club Med Bali
Club Med Bali is an all-inclusive beachfront resort in Nusa Dua, on Bali’s southern Bukit Peninsula. It has 393 rooms in five buildings named after Indonesian islands, set in tropical gardens facing the beach.
What sets it apart is that it is one of the few true all-inclusive resorts in Bali: meals, drinks, many sports and kids clubs are covered in the price. It suits families with children who want a simple, prepaid holiday with plenty of activities, as well as couples who appreciate the adults-only Zen pool.

Beach, pools and spa
The resort has direct beach access with cushioned loungers and thatched parasols on the sand, plus sunbeds on a grassy area behind the beach.
There is a main pool, a kids’ pool and the adults-only Zen Pool in a quiet garden area. Club Med Spa by Mandara offers Balinese and international treatments at extra cost, with a private courtyard, small pool and whirlpool.
Activities and entertainment
Kids clubs are a big part of the experience. Mini Club Med for ages 4 to 10 is included, and Juniors Club Med for older children and teens is included during school holidays. Baby Club Med for under 2s and Petit Club Med for ages 2 to 3 cost extra and must be booked in advance.
Included activities cover a flying trapeze school, golf lessons, yoga, snorkeling, archery, windsurfing, tennis, squash, badminton, basketball, soccer and beach volleyball, with live music by the main pool.
Because everything is on one site and paid up front, the resort works well for families who want to settle in and not plan every meal or activity. Couples can find quieter corners at the Zen Pool and the spa.
Beyond the resort, Bali packs a lot into a small island: sea temples such as Uluwatu and Tanah Lot, the rice terraces and craft villages around Ubud, surf breaks on the Bukit Peninsula and the beach clubs of Seminyak and Canggu. Traffic in the south can be slow, so it pays to plan day trips by area.
Who it’s best for
- Best for: families with children aged 4 and up, first-time visitors to Bali who want an all-inclusive price, and active travelers who like trying new sports.
- Consider another resort if: you want a private pool villa, a small boutique hotel or to eat out in local restaurants most nights.
Getting there from Ngurah Rai International Airport
Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) is about 8 km from the resort, roughly 15 to 20 minutes by car without heavy traffic.
From Nusa Dua, Kuta is about 20 minutes away, Uluwatu Temple about 35 minutes and Ubud a little over an hour.
Most hotels can arrange a car to meet you at arrivals, which is the easiest option after a long flight. Traffic in south Bali can be heavy, especially in the late afternoon, so allow extra time for the return trip to the airport.
