About Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa
Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa is an all-inclusive resort in Vieux Fort, on St. Lucia’s south coast, with about 250 rooms. It is split into two sides: Splash, for families, and Harmony, an adults-only section with its own pools.
What sets it apart is convenience and value: it is about 5 minutes from Hewanorra International Airport, has the island’s largest waterpark, and costs less than the luxury resorts around Soufrière. It suits families and groups.

Beach, pools and spa
The long beach faces the Atlantic, so the water is often choppy; it is better for kitesurfing than for calm swimming. The resort has five pools, a lazy river and Splash Waterpark, described as the largest in St. Lucia. Sanctuary Spa offers treatments at extra cost.
Activities and entertainment
The CocoLand kids club is free. Activities include kitesurfing, kayaking, windsurfing, beach volleyball, four tennis courts, paintball, yoga and fitness classes, with themed dinners, karaoke and beach parties in the evening.
December to April is St. Lucia’s drier, busier high season. The rainy season runs roughly from June to November, and hurricane season from June 1 to November 30.
Beyond the resort, Soufrière and the Pitons are about 45 to 60 minutes away by road, and Castries and Rodney Bay about an hour and a half.
Who it’s best for
- Best for: families and groups who want a value all-inclusive with a waterpark and a very short airport transfer.
- Consider another resort if: you want calm snorkeling water, Piton views or quick access to Rodney Bay nightlife.
Getting there from Hewanorra International Airport
Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) is about 5 minutes from the resort, which offers a free 24-hour airport shuttle.
From George F. L. Charles Airport (SLU) near Castries, the drive takes about an hour and 20 minutes.
