About Hotel del Coronado
Hotel del Coronado, known locally as The Del, has stood on Coronado Beach since 1888. Its red-roofed Victorian building is a National Historic Landmark, and the resort now has more than 700 rooms across the original hotel, the Beach Village cottages and the newer Shore House.
What sets it apart is the mix of history and a wide, sandy ocean beach right outside. A major restoration finished in 2025. It suits families, first-time visitors and anyone who wants a classic California beach resort.
