Manuel Antonio Resorts & Tours

Manuel Antonio is a small beach town on Costa Rica’s central Pacific coast, best known for Manuel Antonio National Park, where rainforest trails lead to white-sand coves and visitors often see sloths, monkeys and toucans. Most visitors stay in the hillside hotels along the road between the town of Quepos and the park entrance, many with ocean views, or close to Playa Espadilla.
Most international flights land at Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) near San José, about 3 to 3.5 hours away by road. Small domestic planes also fly to Quepos La Managua Airport (XQP), about 20 minutes from the hotels. The local currency is the Costa Rican colón, and U.S. dollars are widely accepted. The dry season runs from about December to April, and the green season, with afternoon rain, from May to November.
