French Riviera Resorts & Tours

The French Riviera, or Côte d’Azur, is the Mediterranean coast of southeast France, running from around Saint-Tropez east to Menton and the Italian border, with the independent principality of Monaco along the way. It is known for its beaches, old hilltop villages, art museums and big events such as the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix. Most visitors stay in Nice, Cannes, Antibes or Monaco and use the coastal trains and roads to explore the rest.
International flights land at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport (NCE), about 20 minutes from central Nice, 30 to 45 minutes from Cannes and Antibes and about 40 minutes from Monaco by road. The local currency is the euro. Summers are hot and dry, and the beach season runs from about May to September. Winters are mild, but some seaside hotels and beach clubs close from autumn to spring. Browse resorts and tours in the French Riviera below, from Monaco and Èze day trips and Old Nice walking tours to food tours, Provence wine tours and boat trips to the Mala caves.
