Bora Bora Resorts & Tours

Bora Bora is a small island in French Polynesia, surrounded by a turquoise lagoon and a ring of motus, or small islets, beneath the peak of Mount Otemanu. It is the birthplace of the overwater bungalow, and most luxury resorts sit on the motus facing the main island.
To get there, international flights land at Faa’a International Airport (PPT) in Papeete, Tahiti, followed by a 50-minute domestic flight to Bora Bora Airport (BOB) on Motu Mute. Resorts then collect guests by boat, a ride of about 10 to 25 minutes. The local currency is the CFP franc. The drier season runs from about May to October.
