Goa Resorts & Tours

Goa is India’s smallest state, a strip of Arabian Sea coast known for its long sandy beaches, Portuguese colonial heritage and relaxed pace. Most visitors stay in North Goa around Candolim, Calangute and Baga, which are busier and livelier at night, or in South Goa around Colva, Benaulim, Cavelossim and Mobor, where the beaches are quieter and many of the large resorts sit.
Goa has two airports. Goa International Airport (GOI) at Dabolim is about 30 to 45 minutes from most South Goa resorts, and Manohar International Airport (GOX) at Mopa in the far north is about 45 to 75 minutes from the North Goa beaches. The local currency is the Indian rupee. The best time to visit is the dry season from about November to March, while the monsoon brings heavy rain from June to September.
