Kerala Resorts & Tours

Kerala is a state on the southwest coast of India, known for its calm backwaters, green tea hills and long Arabian Sea beaches. Most visitors combine the old port city of Kochi, a houseboat trip on the backwaters around Alleppey (Alappuzha) and Kumarakom, the tea estates of Munnar in the Western Ghats, and the beach resorts of Kovalam near Thiruvananthapuram.
Most international flights land at Cochin International Airport (COK), about 1 hour from Fort Kochi, 2 to 3 hours from Alleppey and Kumarakom and about 4 hours from Munnar. Kovalam is about 30 minutes from Trivandrum International Airport (TRV). The local currency is the Indian rupee. The drier, more comfortable season runs from about October to March, and the southwest monsoon brings heavy rain from about June to September. Browse resorts and tours in Kerala below, from backwater boat cruises and Fort Kochi tuk-tuk tours to heritage walks and day trips to the Munnar tea hills.
