Patagonia Resorts & Tours

Patagonia is the vast southern tip of South America, shared by Argentina and Chile. It is known for glaciers, granite peaks, lakes and open steppe, from the Perito Moreno Glacier and Mount Fitz Roy in Argentina to the towers of Torres del Paine in Chile. Most visitors stay in El Calafate or Bariloche on the Argentine side, or in Puerto Natales and the lodges of Torres del Paine National Park on the Chilean side.
The main airports are El Calafate International Airport (FTE), about 20 minutes from town; Punta Arenas (PUQ) in Chile, about 3 hours by road from Puerto Natales; and San Carlos de Bariloche (BRC), about 20 to 30 minutes from the city. The local currencies are the Argentine peso and the Chilean peso. The main season runs from about October to April, and many remote lodges close in the southern winter. Browse resorts and tours in Patagonia below, from glacier boat trips and ice trekking to river kayaking and day trips to Torres del Paine.
