St. Kitts & Nevis Resorts & Tours

Winding coastal roads and green hills with distant mountains on St. Kitts

St. Kitts and Nevis is a two-island nation in the eastern Caribbean, known for green volcanic peaks, quiet beaches and a long sugar-plantation history. On St. Kitts, most visitors stay around Frigate Bay and on the Southeast Peninsula near the capital, Basseterre. Nevis, just across a narrow channel, has a slower pace, a long west coast beach and small plantation inns.

International flights land at Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport (SKB) on St. Kitts, about 10 to 15 minutes from Frigate Bay and 25 to 30 minutes from the Southeast Peninsula. Nevis has its own small airport, Vance W. Amory International (NEV), and is also reached by ferry or water taxi. The local currency is the Eastern Caribbean dollar, and U.S. dollars are widely accepted. The drier season runs from about December to April, and hurricane season from June 1 to November 30.
