Koh Samui Resorts & Tours

Koh Samui is Thailand’s second-largest island, in the Gulf of Thailand off the country’s east coast, known for its palm-lined beaches, coconut groves and calm bays. Most visitors stay on the busy east coast at Chaweng and Lamai, in the quieter north around Bophut, Fisherman’s Village and Choeng Mon, or at secluded resorts on the hillsides and smaller bays.
Flights land at Samui International Airport (USM) in the northeast of the island, about 10 to 20 minutes from Chaweng, Bophut and Choeng Mon and 25 to 35 minutes from Lamai. The local currency is the Thai baht. The driest months are usually January to April, while the heaviest rain falls from about October to December. Browse resorts and tours in Koh Samui below, from Ang Thong Marine Park boat trips and Pig Island snorkeling to island tours, elephant sanctuaries and Thai cooking classes.
