St. John Resorts & Tours

St. John is the smallest of the three main U.S. Virgin Islands, and about two-thirds of it is protected as Virgin Islands National Park. It is known for its white sand beaches on the north shore, such as Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay, its coral reefs and its hiking trails. Most visitors stay in or near Cruz Bay, the main town and ferry port, or in villas and small inns around the quieter Coral Bay on the east end.
The island has no airport. Flights land at Cyril E. King Airport (STT) on St. Thomas, about 30 to 45 minutes by road from the Red Hook ferry dock, and the passenger ferry from Red Hook to Cruz Bay takes about 20 minutes. St. John uses the U.S. dollar. The drier season runs from about December to April, and hurricane season from June 1 to November 30.
