Phu Quoc Resorts & Tours

White sand and turquoise water at Sao Beach on Phu Quoc island, Vietnam

Phu Quoc is Vietnam’s largest island, set in the Gulf of Thailand off the country’s southwest coast and known for its white sand beaches, clear water and sunsets over the sea. Most visitors stay on Long Beach near Duong Dong town on the west coast, in the north around Bai Dai and Ganh Dau, or in the south near An Thoi and Kem Beach.

International and domestic flights land at Phu Quoc International Airport (PQC), about 10 to 15 minutes from Long Beach and 30 to 45 minutes from resorts in the far north or south. The local currency is the Vietnamese dong, and U.S. dollars are accepted at many hotels. The dry season runs from about November to April, while May to October brings more rain and rougher seas on the west coast.
