The resort is not all-inclusive. It has more than a dozen places to eat and drink, from beach dining to fine dining.

Beach, pools and spa

The resort sits directly on Isla Verde Beach, a wide sandy city beach that is generally good for swimming, with the hotel’s own beach club.

There are four outdoor pools, including the Well and Being Pool and a pool with a swim-up bar, plus two hot tubs. The Well and Being Spa offers massages and treatments at extra cost.

Activities and entertainment

Evenings are the resort’s strength, with live entertainment in the lobby, the Chico Cabaret lounge, the BRAVA nightclub and the Foxwoods El San Juan Casino, which added a sportsbook in 2025. Water sports are available along Isla Verde Beach.

Puerto Rico is warm all year. December to April is the drier, busier high season, while May to October brings more rain. Hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30.

Beyond the resort, Old San Juan is about 20 minutes away, and El Yunque rainforest and the bioluminescent bay at Fajardo are popular day and evening trips.

Getting there from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport

Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) is right next to Isla Verde, so the drive usually takes 5 to 15 minutes depending on traffic.

Taxis and ride-share cars are available at the airport, and private transfers can be booked in advance so a driver meets you at arrivals.
