About Parador de Ibiza
Parador de Ibiza is a state-run Parador hotel inside the former Almudaina Castle, at the top of Dalt Vila, the walled old town of Ibiza Town and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It welcomed its first guests in March 2026 after a restoration of almost 47 million euros.
What sets it apart is the setting: rooms and lounges sit within the castle walls and bastions, with Phoenician, Roman, Islamic, medieval and Renaissance remains on site. It is planned to stay open all year. It suits history lovers, couples and off-season visitors who want a quiet base above the town.
