About W Barcelona
W Barcelona is a sail-shaped glass tower on Plaça de la Rosa dels Vents, at the far tip of Barceloneta beach. It has 473 rooms and suites, all with views of the sea or the city skyline. It opened in 2009 as the first W hotel in Western Europe.

Beach, pools and spa
The hotel has direct access to the beach through SALT. The WET Deck has outdoor pools, daybeds and cabanas, with an infinity pool and sun deck one floor above. The outdoor pool is seasonal and usually opens from April to October. The underground AWAY Spa has saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, an indoor pool and treatment rooms.
Activities and entertainment
Guests can use the FIT gym and a yoga deck. DJs play in the W Lounge, and NOXE becomes a club in the evening. The old streets of Barceloneta are about 15 minutes away on foot.

Book a private transfer in advance so a driver meets you at arrivals and takes you straight to the hotel.
