The Westin Reserva Conchal, an All-Inclusive Golf Resort & Spa
About The Westin Reserva Conchal, an All-Inclusive Golf Resort & Spa
The Westin Reserva Conchal is an all-inclusive resort inside Reserva Conchal, a 2,400-acre community next to Playa Conchal in Guanacaste. Playa Conchal is known for sand made of crushed seashells and clear water, and it is one of the most photographed beaches on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast.
The resort combines an all-inclusive plan with an 18-hole golf course, a large lagoon-style pool and nine restaurants. It suits families with children ages 4 to 12, groups and golfers who want everything in one place. There is also a Westin Club option for guests who want extra privileges.

Activities and entertainment
Reserva Conchal is a large residential and resort community, so the area around the hotel is quiet and green. Just outside the gates, the small towns of Brasilito and Flamingo have local restaurants, a marina and boat trips, which makes for an easy half day away from the resort.
The 18-hole Reserva Conchal Golf Course is a two-minute walk from the lobby and has a practice range. Activities included in the plan cover kayaking, snorkeling and non-motorized water sports, tennis, volleyball, bicycling, yoga, Pilates and water fitness. Evenings bring theme parties, dancing and on-site nightclub access, while a supervised kids club looks after children ages 4 to 12.

Who it’s best for
- Best for: families, multi-generational groups and golfers who want an all-inclusive stay on one of Costa Rica’s best-known beaches.
- Consider another resort if: you want a short airport transfer, a small and quiet property, or a room right on the sand.
Getting there from Liberia International Airport
Reserva Conchal is about a 76-minute drive from Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport in Liberia (LIR). The resort offers a round-trip airport shuttle for a surcharge.
Plan for the longer drive when you book flights. If your flight lands in the afternoon, you may arrive close to sunset, and Costa Rican roads can be dark and narrow at night. A pre-booked transfer with a driver who knows the route takes the stress out of the trip.
