What to expect on the day
You meet your instructor at the surf school, collect your board and rash guard, and learn the basics of safety and reading the ocean on the sand. Your instructor then picks the best beach for the day, such as El Anclote, La Lancha or Burros, based on the waves and your level, and helps you in the water as you try to catch your first waves.
