About Niva Kurumba Maldives
Niva Kurumba Maldives, known as Kurumba Maldives until its rebrand in March 2026, is on the island of Vihamanafushi in North Malé Atoll. It opened in 1972 as one of the first resorts in the Maldives and now has 180 rooms and villas.
What sets it apart is the location: it is only about 10 minutes by speedboat from the airport, with transfers running 24 hours a day. That, plus seven restaurants and an all-inclusive option, makes it a good fit for families, short stays and travelers with late flights.
