Meeting point
Take Dumfries St. off the Niagara Parkway, follow the road down. At the Queenston Waterfront sign, follow the road and turn left down to our parking lot. Guests are asked to arrive 45 minutes prior to trip for check in and mandatory safety briefing. Refunds will not be given for late arrivals.
What to expect on the day
After check-in and a safety briefing, you board the open boat and head up the river with a guide giving live commentary. The boat drives through the Class 5 Devil’s Hole Rapids, then travels to its farthest point at the Niagara Whirlpool. The rapids above the Whirlpool cannot be navigated, so the boat does not reach the falls, and you do not see Niagara Falls on this trip.

Tips for a better day
- Arrive 45 minutes early: You need to register, sign the participation agreement and hear the safety briefing. Late arrivals are moved to a later trip or get no refund.
- Finding the dock: Take Dumfries Street off the Niagara Parkway, follow the Queenston Waterfront sign and turn left into the parking lot. You need your own transport.
- Seats at the front: The first rows are the wettest and have age and weight rules, so plan seating if you travel with teens.
Who it’s best for
Best for: Thrill seekers and families with older kids who do not mind getting soaked.
Consider another option if: You want to stay dry or see the falls up close. The boat cruise and Journey Behind the Falls tour goes right to the base of the falls.
