About Zuri Zanzibar
Zuri Zanzibar is a beach resort in Kendwa, on the northwest coast of Unguja, about 50 km north of Stone Town. It has 56 bungalows, suites and villas set in a large tropical garden with its own spice garden.
What sets it apart is its modern design, by architects Jestico and Whiles, and a west-facing beach where you can swim at all tides and watch the sun set over the ocean. It is a member of Design Hotels and holds EarthCheck certification. It suits couples, honeymooners and design lovers.

Beach, pools and spa
The resort has about 300 meters of white sand beach on Kendwa, one of the few beaches on the island where you can swim at any tide. A 32-meter infinity pool with a wooden sun deck looks out over the ocean. The Maua spa has 3 treatment rooms for massages and facials.
Activities and entertainment
An on-site PADI dive center and water sports center offer diving, snorkeling, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, plus sunset sailing and snorkel trips. Yoga and meditation sessions take place on the yoga deck, the beach or in the garden, and there is an outdoor fitness area and a spice garden walk.
