Whistler Resorts & Tours

Whistler is a mountain resort town in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia, home to Whistler Blackcomb, one of the largest ski areas in North America. In summer the same slopes are used for hiking, mountain biking and sightseeing, and the valley has lakes, golf courses and trails. Most visitors stay in the car-free Whistler Village, in the Upper Village at the base of Blackcomb, or in quieter Creekside to the south.
The nearest major airport is Vancouver International Airport (YVR), about 2 to 2.5 hours away by road on the Sea-to-Sky Highway (Highway 99). The local currency is the Canadian dollar. The ski season usually runs from late November to April, while July and August are the warmest months for hiking, biking and lake days. Spring and fall are quieter shoulder seasons, when some facilities close for maintenance.
