Guests can explore the palace rooms and the gardens of exotic trees and plants. On summer Saturdays there are picnic lunches on the lawn. A free hotel shuttle runs several times a day to Belém and downtown, making it easy to visit Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower and the custard tart bakery in Belém.
