Savoy Palace is a large, modern 5-star hotel on Avenida do Infante in Funchal’s hotel zone, a short walk from the city center. It opened in 2019 on the site of the former Savoy Classic hotel, and every room has a balcony.

There is no beach at the hotel. The pools include two rooftop infinity pools, a garden pool area, indoor pools and a children’s pool, with poolside bars and cabanas for a fee. The Laurea Spa is inspired by Madeira’s laurel forest and has treatment rooms, a sauna, steam room and hot tub. Guests under 18 are not allowed in the spa.
