About The Crane Resort

The Crane sits on a cliff above Crane Beach in St. Philip, on the quieter southeast coast of Barbados. It opened in 1887 and is often called one of the oldest operating hotels in the Caribbean. Today it is a large suite resort with its own village of shops and restaurants.

What sets it apart is the setting: a historic cliff-edge pool with columns looks over a pink-tinged beach, and many suites have their own plunge pool. It suits families, couples and travelers who want space and a short ride from the airport.
