What to expect on the day
Your guide leads the group up the trail from Signal Hill Road. On a sunset hike you watch the sun drop into the Atlantic Ocean and walk down in the dark. On a sunrise hike you may start in the dark and watch the sun rise over the Hottentots Holland mountains. From about halfway up, the path gets steep, rocky and narrow, and there are 2 short sections of about 3 meters where you use steel handles and chains. These are only on the way up.
