About Los Arcos Boat and Snorkel Tour in Puerto Vallarta

Los Arcos are the rocky islands and arches rising out of the bay just south of Puerto Vallarta, protected as a marine national park. This small-group boat tour, capped at 12 people, explores all five islands, goes inside some of the sea caves, and stops at one of the best snorkel spots in the bay.

At about three and a half hours and under US$50, it’s one of the best-value ways to get on the water in Puerto Vallarta.

What’s included

  • Bus fee
  • Life vest
  • Use of Snorkelling equipment

Meeting point

Meet on the sidewalk in front of the OXXO store and the buses. NOT in the tour shop next to the bus stop! (different company!) Wait for the guide, don't go on the bus on your own. Staying south of Vallarta and want to meet directly in Mismaloya? Message me! Cruise ship: LOCAL time ≠ boat time

What to expect on the day

Your guide meets the group at the bus stop and travels with you by local bus toward Mismaloya, where the boat leaves. Out at Los Arcos, the guide explains the wildlife, plants and history of the islands as you circle them and enter the caves. Then you anchor at the snorkel spot to swim among the fish.
