What to expect on the day

After pick-up, you stop briefly for photos at the old village of Fanja, then continue to Wadi Bani Khalid, where you can swim in the clear pools or relax on the rocks and have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon you drive off-road into Wahiba Sands, visit a Bedouin family for Omani coffee and dates, and can ride a camel before watching the sunset over the dunes. You then drive back to Muscat.
